The agenda for the UC Summit is designed to provide opportunities for learning, networking and building relationships.

Sunday, May 6

Time Sunday, May 6
2:00 - 2:50 p.m. Expert Sessions – UCStrategies' Marty Parker and Blair Pleasant: ʺUCC Apps & Social Businessʺ  – Pacifica Ballroom
The UC Applications and Social Business Panel will discuss UC application categories now visible in the marketplace, along with examples from many vendors’ and VAR/SIs’ published cases studies. The session will extend the applications conversation into the growing product options for collaborative communications including social communications and networks in the business environment.  This will be valuable to UC Summit attendees who seek to increase their added value beyond equipment resale, installation and maintenance.
3:00 - 3:50 p.m. Expert Sessions – UCStrategies' Russell Bennett: “UC Interoperability from the Reseller’s Perspective” – Pacifica Ballroom
The online commentary on UC is awash with articles and opinions on the topic of interoperability. Is standards compliance enough to achieve interoperability? Is a multi-vendor UC infrastructure an implementable reality today? Is a best-of-breed/mix-and-match/plug-and-play system a reasonable expectation? How can I know for sure that all this stuff is just going to work? Answers to these questions and more from someone who has spent years at the coalface of UC interoperability.
4:00 - 4:45 p.m. Opening Remarks/UCStrategies Welcome – UCStrategies' Jim Burton – Pacifica Ballroom
4:45 - 5:25 p.m. Sponsor Keynote "Vision" 1 – Greg Weber, Avaya – Pacifica Ballroom

11:15 - noon Bridging the Gap Between Mobility and UC – UCStrategies' Michael Finneran – Pacifica Ballroom
While the UC vendors have been touting their mobility offerings far and wide, user uptake has been close to zero. At the same time, the enterprise mobility market is focused on mobile security, mobile device management, and applications development. This session will look to bring the mobile UC picture into a clearer focus, and to examine opportunities for SIs to expand in the mobility market.
