Very interesting perspective of where UC belongs in technology research and formal education! The perspective of practical usage leading to Business School issues would put more emphasis on how business users, including customers, would exploit UC makes a lot of sense, especially as all types of end users start exploiting personalized, mobile smartphones. Looking at such usage needs can then lead to identifying infrastructure technologies in terms of how to support real world UC functionalities and multimodal traffic.
