AltiGen and WorkSpace Partner
WorkSpace Communications and AltiGen Communications, Inc. have announced a partnership to deliver a hosted, software-as-a-service based contact center solution for Microsoft Lync. The solution can integrate with the hosted Lync offering from WorkSpace Communications, or with an existing premise-based solution.
The WorkSpace Contact Center Solution allows clients to gain the benefits of the Microsoft Lync Unified Communications environment while maintaining the efficiency and sophistication of contact center technology through AltiGen's MaxACD platform. With AltiGen's software-based platform, users are provided with features such as Automated Call Distribution, Interactive Voice Response, quality monitoring, and call recording. It also comes with native Microsoft Lync integration, providing features such as Presence, Instant Messaging, and Work-from-Home features. CXO Global Solutions, a subsidiary of WorkSpace, provides a variety of additional contact center support features, such as platform administration and enhanced reporting.
With WorkSpace's operating model, the company can deliver an enterprise-class suite of integrated communication and collaboration tools to the desktops of employees in firms of any size. It provides smaller companies with tools normally accessible only to larger ones, providing enterprise-class unified communications and solutions.
"AltiGen was one of Microsoft first contact center partners," says Jim Burton, co-founder and UC Expert at UCStrategies. "They have evolved their contact center product as Microsoft evolved their UC solutions and now are tightly integrated with Lync. AltiGen's MaxACD if a great addition to WorkSpace Communications expanding product portfolio. Customers will appreciate the new option of MaxACD being available as a hosted offering."
