Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc. (AVST) and collab9 have entered a partnership to deliver a joint solution that hosts AVST’s CX-E platform within collab9’s FedRAMP authorized cloud UC infrastructure. The combined solution is aimed at government entities, so as to help accelerate the public sector get into the cloud.

collab9 was granted a FedRAMP Moderate Authority to Operate back in 2016, and is using its AVST partnership to offer a UC portfolio with integration solutions from multiple Unified Communications technology vendors. Through the partnership, the two companies are combining AVST’s UC applications with the hosted UC technologies from collab9, providing a communications solution for government entities that is advertised as secure, robust, and flexible.

The FedRAMP-authorized collab9 UCaaS solution offers a full suite of communication services, including video calls, IM and presence, unified messaging, integrated voicemail and email, and mobility. Additionally, it has integration with Microsoft Office 365, Skype for Business, and Gmail, along with E911 functionality, and customer care applications for contact centers.

Through this solution, AVST and collab9 hope to help government organizations benefit by modernizing them, simplifying IT management via a cloud infrastructure, and connect workers to improve productivity.
