Mitel Introduces New Communications Suite
Mitel has a new series of solutions for businesses and service providers, made to provide mobile users with communication, collaboration, and contact center capabilities. The new suite, which is showcased at the Mitel Next event in San Diego, is designed to be mobile-first and cloud-enabled, and is described by the company as "millennial-focused," to meet the communication needs of the new generation of workers.
The first new addition is the latest generation of Mitel’s MiContact Center. This customer engagement platform enables an advanced digital customer experience across social media communications in real-time, along with CRM integration, so agents can gain a full view of the customer’s profile and determine how to deliver the best experience possible.
Mitel is also introducing a new version of MiCloud, its cloud communications solution portfolio, which now natively intersects with over 20 cloud-based CRM platforms and productivity applications. It can also integrate into cloud-based application environments used by HR, recruiting, dealer and franchise management, and more, providing native access to real-time communications capabilities from the applications.
With the growth of technology and connectivity between devices, security is always important. To address that, Mitel has partnered with Unisys, and is introducing the MiStealth security technology, which provides identity-based controls over who can access enterprise networks from the enterprise or cloud.
Additionally, Mitel is using the Mitel Performance Analytics to provide campus environments with real-time communications monitoring, analytics, and mass-notifications. It offers 24/7 monitoring to proactively solve performance issues, and should conventional communications fail, it uses Mitel Mass Notification services to send out notices and alerts.
According to Blair Pleasant, President & Principal Analyst of COMMfusion and co-founder of UCStrategies, "With these new offerings, Mitel continues to deliver on its cloud-first, mobile-first promise. What I believe is most important is Mitel’s focus on integration with business applications and workflows, whether productivity suites like Microsoft Office 365 and Google Apps or vertical apps for HR, finance, etc. By integrating with applications where workers spend most of their time, Mitel’s communication and collaboration capabilities can be utilized by workers ‘where they live,’ making these solutions more useful and impactful."
All these new additions and solutions were introduced at Mitel Next, and will be made available soon. For more information, visit www.mitel.com.
