ShoreTel has recently announced newly appointed leaders for their sales organization. Joe Vitalone, Tim Gaines, and Mark Arman have been brought in to lead channel management, North America sales, and international sales & worldwide distribution, respectively.
Joe Vitalone, the new VP of Channel Management, is returning to ShoreTel from LifeSize, where he doubled sales as VP of sales for the Americas. He has over 25 years of experience in sales and business development in technology and communications, and will be responsible for advocating for the channel and strengthening channel revenues.
Timothy C. Gaines, a member of ShoreTel since 2007, will oversee North American sales for on-premise solutions, including unified communications, mobility, and contact center. He has over 20 years of sales and general management experience, and recently served as regional director and general manager for a U.S. subsidiary of Fujitsu, and held vice president positions for StarVox and PictureTel Corporation.
Mark Arman is the new VP of International Sales and Worldwide Distribution. He was the founding CEO of WindSpring until he joined ShoreTel in 2006, leading its business development efforts. Before that, he was the CEO of Conferserv, and spent five years as a manager with LEK Consulting.
"This is good news on a couple of levels, and should position ShoreTel for a strong second half of 2012," says Jon Arnold of UCStrategies and J Arnold & Associates. "First, these appointments bring proven experience from companies with solid adjacencies to ShoreTel - and M5's core businesses. The moves also show strength to bolster their just-announced FY Q3 2012 results, which were ahead of analyst expectations."
