Byron W. Battles

Mr. Battles has 25 years of industry experience in direct voice and data telecommunications evaluation, technical and project consulting, applied market and subject research, and direct sales and management. His telecommunications/ technology consulting and personal computer-related experience includes requirements analysis, needs projections, RFP preparation, proposal evaluation, technical evaluation and support, project management, organizational planning, and operational support.

After extensive research and independent evaluation activities, Mr. Battles is a recognized expert in the field of Computer Telephony Integration (CTI).

Additionally, Mr. Battles has five years of direct sales and territory management experience that provides a unique perspective to evaluate the effectiveness and functionality of technology and marketing in a “real world” setting.

He is also a published author and speaker at professional conferences and seminars.  Examples are a day-long workshop on “IP Telephony in the Real World” at Networld + INTEROP and a TIA (Telecommunications Industry Association) teleforum, "Developing ROI for Converged Enterprise Solutions."

As the President of the Society of Telecommunications Consultants (STC) Mr. Battles adheres to a strict Code of Ethics ( http://www.stcconsultants.org/ethics.html ) ensuring his independence from any vendor affiliation. The STC is the largest association of independent telecommunications consultants in North America.

Mr. Battles earned his Master of International Management (MIM) degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, AZ; his BA is from Austin College in Sherman, TX.
