Maribel Lopez provides consulting and market research analysis on the mobility, unified communications and collaboration industries. She is currently researching how disruptive forces such as wireless technologies, social networks, web 2.0 and IP-based convergence will change the future of enterprise communications-related products for voice, video and data services.
Prior to founding Lopez Research, Maribel spent over 10 years at Forrester Research analyzing multiple topics related to the telecommunications industry including operator network and service strategies, enterprise communications and consumer markets for voice, video and data.
Before she joined Forrester, she worked for Shiva Corporation, where she held positions in strategic marketing and product marketing. Additionally, Maribel has led a competitive analysis team and a product evaluation laboratory. Prior to joining Shiva, she worked for International Data Corporation and Motorola Codex.
Maribel is a frequent speaker on topics regarding the telecommunications industry, enterprise mobility, and next generation services. She often speaks at events and is quoted in business and trade publications such as The Wall Street Journal, and has appeared on CNBC and Bloomberg TV.
