BC Summit 2016 is now accepting applications for attendees. The 2016 version of this annual event will be held November 1-3, 2016, at the La Quinta Resort & Club, in Palm Springs, CA. You can read more about the BC Summit here.

The BC Summit was first launched in 2008 as a vehicle to help educate channel partners and consultants on the rapidly evolving field of unified communications. Enterprise customers were added to the mix last year, and we are very excited that the growth in attendance has caused us to move the event from our previous venue in San Diego to the La Quinta Resort and Club in Palm Springs for 2016.

Who Is This Event For?

The unique event serves four constituencies:

  • UC&C vendors
  • Solution Integrators (SIs) - A.K.A. "Resellers" or Managed Service Providers (MSP)
  • Consultants
  • Enterprise Customers

In addition, many of the BCStrategies (formerly UCStrategies) Experts will be on hand at the event, presenting educational sessions and interacting with attendees.

What Kinds of Sessions Will Be Presented?

Keynotes/Vision Statements: Diamond and Platinum sponsors each give a keynote presentation or “vision statement” dealing with how they see a particular area of UC&C evolving.

General Sessions include the following:

  • BCStrategies General Sessions: Members of the BCStrategies team discuss the state of the UC industry, major trends, developments and challenges.
  • Success Stories: Gold sponsors present stories that detail a recent implementation of their product or service, including lessons learned, and challenges overcome.
  • Innovators’ Roundtable: BC Experts judge the more creative and leading-edge products, technologies and applications.

Focus Sessions: 45-minute focus sessions for smaller groups are a key opportunity to learn more about a company, its solutions, its channel program and more.

What Kinds of Social Opportunities Are There?

One of the major objectives of the BC Summit is to develop relationships that grow into successful business partnerships. To that end, a number of social events are planned:

  • Tuesday Morning Golf Tournament
  • Tuesday Morning Tennis Tournament
  • Tuesday Night Reception
  • Wednesday Night Reception
  • Meals
  • Vendor Hospitality Suites

What Did 2015 Attendees Say About the Event?

85% of the solutions integrators and 78% of the consultants who attended the 2015 Summit rated it "Outstanding" while the rest rated it "Above Average."

100% of the consultants said they would recommend it to others.

70% of the solutions integrators and 66% of the consultants said they expected their UC-related revenues to increase as a result of attending the BC Summit 2015.

Is There an Exhibit Area?

Each vendor will have a booth in the Solutions Hall where they will have the opportunity to demonstrate their products and discuss their potential applications with the attendees. The Tuesday evening Welcome Reception, breakfast on Wednesday and Thursday, and the pre-dinner reception on Wednesday will take place in the Solutions Hall, providing considerable time to interact with sponsors and other attendees.

I am an SI/Consultant/End User? How Can I Attend and How Much Does It Cost?

Registration is limited, so please act fast. Start here, read more about the event, and then fill out the application.

The BC Summit will cover food, drinks, registration fees and airport transfers in Palm Springs. Attendees will be responsible for their own transportation to and from Palm Springs and for their hotel rooms ($209 per night). All we ask is that you attend assigned Focus sessions and sponsor keynote sessions. (The BC Summit matches sponsors requests with the attendees’ areas of specialization.)

For attendees who choose to come for the social aspects of the event and attend sessions of their own choosing or miss some of the Focus sessions, the registration fee is $3,500.
