New Whitepaper on Embedding Communications Into Your Enterprise Applications by Blair Pleasant

UCStrategies and Esna (now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Avaya) just released a white paper on embedding unified communications and collaboration capabilities into applications – you can find the white paper here.

Adding click-to-communicate tools to the applications and workspaces workers use in their day-to-day jobs – such as Salesforce.com, Jive, Google Apps, or Office 365 - lets users meet, share, and edit seamlessly without disruption. Being able to click to conference and start a live meeting right from the application means making faster and better decisions, developing and bringing products to market more quickly, shorter sales cycles, and better responsiveness to customers.

"Enterprise applications" must now also include cloud-based self-service apps that will be increasingly used by mobile consumers as a starting point for customer services and business contact interactions.

I am curious to know how Avaya/Esna will exploit WebRTC, which will hopefully soon become standardized by service providers.
